Job Summary:
CoparTech is seeking a skilled On-Call Network Specialist to design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain wired and wireless networks for our clients. This role is ideal for a network professional who can provide expert support on a flexible, as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and configure wired and wireless networks
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and security issues
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
- Perform network upgrades, optimization, and basic security implementation
- Assist with internet setup, VLANs, IP addressing, and device configuration
- Conduct network assessments and recommend improvements
- Provide on-call remote and on-site network support
- Document network configurations, issues, and resolutions
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi systems
- Familiarity with basic network security best practices
- Ability to work independently and respond to on-call requests
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
